I have attended other WLS seminars, and Dr. Patel's was like a one stop shop, not only was he very personable, he truly cares about his patients. At one WLS place, I would have had to pay seperately for the Dieticians for the exercise person, etc. Just the entire process before surgery would have cost me alot out of pocket. I was very pleased, that for Dr. Patel, it's about what is best for the patient and not what is best for his pocket book. I am looking forward to my surgery! Dr. Patel's new office location is San Antonio, is beautiful! There is a gym, a protein shake bar and has an overall nice feel to it! I am also an avid user of his online support group thru yahoo. Is this surgeon the one that does the fills for paitients of Dr. Jose Rodriguez of acuna, mexico? i heard he has an office in austin, tx and i could go get my fills here after the surgery in mexico?

When I meet him I knew he was the doctor for me. He was very confindent and very easy to talk to. His office staff was friendly and very helpful. He informed me of the risk of surgery, but all in all was very confindent that all would be fine.His surgical competence is second to none and he is a very caring doctor. Overall I would have to rate him before and during my surgery a 10, after about a 7.The only negative thing That I would say is that is it is very hard to reach him now that my surgery is over, staff is very busy and so is he.

I had looked for surgeon that did corrective surgery for months. No one would even talk with me. I found Dr. Patel and set up a consult. He looked at the pictures of my endoscopy and began explaining how he would correct my problems. I couldn't believe he was going to take my case! He was courteous, professional, and from all of the information that I have read, is considered one of the very best. I'm BLESSED to have found him!

Dr. Patel is great and very personable... I had terrible problems with staff and scheduling but in the end he did what he said he would do and that's what matters.

My first impression of Dr. Patel was that he is very passionate about what he does, and wants to help as many people as possible. The staff is good about helping you, but sometimes you have to contact them numerous times before they get back to you. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel for your WLS surgery.

I really like Dr. Patel, his manner is honest and straightforward, he treated me like he had all the time in the world, and also since I'm a nurse, he treated me very professionally ( i'm sure he treats all patients like that). His staff is so great too...they have alot of patience with me and all my questions.

When I met dr patel I got really excited he gave me hope for a normal life. I can not wait until I can wake up in the morning feeling good. I think his staff are a very busy crew who do an excellint job. The thing I like least... He looks like a cowboys fan! After care is a big deal real big.

My first impression of Dr. patel was wow he is here in person for this seminar not one of his office staff but him . During our one on one after the seminar I was very impressed with his straight forward attitude . I liked that he has a great sense of humor also . After my surgery I had a minor complication and Dr. Patel called my hospital room directly and talked with us . When I left the hospital he called every day sometimes 2 times a day to see how I was doing . I would highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone having this surgery.
